The 2023 Chevrolet Traverse is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. It comes standard with a nine-speed automatic transmission and either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The Traverse also has plenty of power for towing, with a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds when properly equipped.
The Traverse has a MacPherson strut independent suspension with hydraulic control arm ride bushing that gives it an exceptionally smooth ride. The combination of the suspension system and its powertrain make it agile while also providing a comfortable, quiet driving experience.
Interior
The three-row seating option provides plenty of room for passengers, while the rear seats can fold down to provide even more cargo space when needed.
All trim levels come standard with a 7.0-inch touchscreen display that is compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, as well as SiriusXM® radio. Higher trim levels include built-in navigation and a Bose® audio system for enhanced sound quality.
Safety Features
Along with the Traverse's powerful engine and responsive suspension, it also features a suite of advanced driver assistance features. This includes a standard rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, lane-keep assist and automatic emergency braking.
Higher trim levels offer additional safety features such as adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring.
